General ICOMS 2027
When and where is ICOMS 2027?
The 27th International Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will take place October 14–17, 2027, at the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin in Berlin, Germany. Pre-conference programming will begin on October 13, 2027.
Where is the congress venue?
ICOMS 2027 will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, Stauffenbergstraße 26, 10785 Berlin, Germany. The hotel offers modern meeting facilities, convenient public transportation connections, and access to major Berlin landmarks.
When will the ICOMS hotel booking link be available?
The JW Marriott booking system only allows the ICOMS room-booking link to be released 340 days before the event. The booking link will be posted on the ICOMS 2027 website as soon as it becomes available.

When does registration open?
Registration is scheduled to open in November 2026.
Where will I register for ICOMS 2027?
Online registration will be available through the ICOMS 2027 website once registration opens.
What will registration include?
Full registration inclusions, categories, and fees will be published when registration opens.
Does registration include local transportation in Berlin?
Yes. ICOMS 2027 registration includes a Berlin City Ticket valid during the main congress days for public transportation throughout Berlin's ABC fare zones, including Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Registration cancellation and refund terms will be published with the full registration information.
Scientific Program & Abstracts
When will the ICOMS 2027 scientific program be available?
Scientific program details will be added as planning progresses. The congress will include international scientific education, symposia, free paper sessions, invited speakers, Master Classes, and other educational programming.
When does the Call for Abstracts open?
The Call for Abstracts is scheduled to open in October 2026.
When is the abstract submission deadline?
The final abstract submission deadline will be published with the Call for Abstracts.
Where will I submit an abstract?
Abstract submission instructions and the online submission portal will be available through the ICOMS 2027 website when the Call for Abstracts opens.
Will there be Master Classes?
Yes. Master Class information will be published as the scientific program develops.
Where can I find invited speaker information?
Invited speaker information will be available on the ICOMS 2027 Invited Speakers page and will be updated as faculty participation is confirmed.
Travel & Visa
Do I need a visa to attend ICOMS 2027?
Each attendee is responsible for determining whether a visa is required to travel to Germany and for obtaining the appropriate travel documentation. Attendees who require a visa are strongly encouraged to apply well in advance of their planned travel date.
Can I request an official invitation letter for my visa application?
Yes. Meeting staff can provide an official invitation letter upon request. Email congress@bb-mc.com and provide your full name and address exactly as they appear in your passport.
Can IAOMS or the Planning Committee arrange my visa?
No. The Planning Committee cannot arrange visas or influence the outcome of visa applications.
Will my registration fee be refunded if I am unable to obtain a visa?
No. Registration and exhibition fees will not be refunded for cancellation or non-attendance resulting from failure to obtain a visa.
Which airport should I use?
Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is approximately 26 km from the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin.
How do I get from BER Airport to the congress hotel?
Regional trains such as the FEX or RE20 provide service toward central Berlin. Exit at S+U Potsdamer Platz, then continue to the JW Marriott by taxi, Uber, or on foot. Approximate rail travel time is 30–40 minutes.
How far is the JW Marriott from Berlin Central Station?
The hotel is approximately 3 km from Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Taxi or Uber travel takes approximately 5–10 minutes, depending on traffic. Bus M85 also provides service toward Potsdamer Brücke.
Accompanying Persons
Will there be activities for accompanying persons?
Yes. An Accompanying Persons Program is planned. Details will be announced as the program is finalized.
Can accompanying persons attend social events?
Some events may offer tickets or access for accompanying persons. Specific eligibility and pricing will be published with registration and social event information.

No. The current ticket price is USD 110. Advance purchase is required and capacity is limited.

The event will take place at Zollpackhof, a traditional Berlin beer garden along the River Spree.
How much is the IAOMS Foundation Luncheon?
The current ticket price is USD 160. Advance purchase is required and capacity is limited.
Where will the IAOMS Foundation Luncheon take place?
The luncheon will be held at the Käfer Rooftop Restaurant at the German Bundestag.
